Birmingham’s Southeastern School of Cosmetology Students, once again, competed
in The Bronner Bros. Hair Show in Atlanta, Georgia, the weekend of the February
18-21, 2011.
SESC Student Arena Walker and her model, SESC Student Blessing Williams, won
First Place in the Rising Star Competition on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 as they, along
with other students from all over the Southeast, and beyond, participated at the
Georgia World Congress Center.

In a separate segment, The Fantasy Competition, one of Southeastern School of
Cosmetology newcomers, Shonta Self, won third place in a competition that was
once only designated for professional stylists only! Her Model, Brittany Price, wore
her wear well.

Theme: “Don’t Mess With Mother Nature”
Brittany’s costume was made mostly of hair: the headdress, the outfit, and the
wings!
Each winner won a trophy and a cash prize. Students are so excited, they’re
already preparing for the Bronner Bros. Show in August.
Southeastern School of Cosmetology would like to congratulate all our student
